Around the world for many centuries goat has been enjoyed as an amino and rich, lean animal protein that sustains and enriches human life. For omnivores and flexitarians, goat is an incredibly sustainable red meat alternative (to beef and other large livestock.) Goat herds eat the forage we humans cannot eat directly, and in that process they thin overgrowth that is prone to fire in our era of devastating climate change. They require less inputs than other large animal livestock (like water and feed) and they give us so much back in return. Yes, goats are cute. But so are cows and chickens!
